OUR TEAM | Our Upper East Side cannabis dispensary is a family-run labor of shared love. Founders Nicole and Chris Lucien (that’s us!) first met at work years ago, and founding Bliss + Lex together has brought us full circle. We’re a true team as husband and wife, and we have grown together through life’s challenges, including the lingering stigma of a decades-old cannabis conviction. We know firsthand the impact that cannabis prohibition and criminalization has had on ordinary New Yorkers—and the importance of community in building a brighter future.

BLISS + LEX AND THE HOUSING WORKS CANNABIS CO’S CAURD COHORT PROGRAM | We launched Bliss + Lex in partnership with Housing Works Cannabis Co’s CAURD Cohort Program. For over three decades, the nonprofit Housing Works organization has set incredible standards when it comes to providing meaningful support to New York’s marginalized communities. In 2022, Housing Works extended its innovative retail model to include New York City’s first licensed cannabis dispensary. Today, Housing Works Cannabis Co offers a mix of vital business resources to entrepreneurs, helping set up New York’s CAURD (Conditional Adult-Use Retail Dispensary) license holders for success in a dynamic emerging market.
